Rape Reporting
Not Required

Texas Family Code 261.103a(2)

EXEMPTS SCHOOLS FROM REPORTING TEACHERS HAVING SEX WITH CHILDREN.

Texas FC 261.103a(2)

The key words above are "or" in (2) and "certifies" in (3).

This means that that a child rape need only be reported to the teacher-run agency that certifies teachers, the State Board for Education Certification (SBEC).
* Thanks to our friends at the AG's office.

These further teacher crimes need only be reported to SBEC.

SBEC's thousands of charged teachers are available at Search Public School Predator Charges.

ZERO charged teachers are prosecuted.

90.4% can return to class.

For more detail and a board president grimacing while district sex charges are read see The State of Rape.

There is a Solution
The Legislature can require that alleged crimes against children perpetrated by teachers be reported to law enforcement. Texas Legislature

Call your House Representative and Senator and demand rapey teachers be reported to law enforcement.
